Aroa Bungalow is named after Arorangi�s Aroa Lagoon and Beach just a three minute walk down the road. Aroa translates to love in english. Located just off the main road up a connecting side road, Aroa Bungalow offers peace and tranquility and views of Rarotonga�s wild mountain interior. The house itself is unusual for the Cook Islands due to its successful merging of Indonesian and Island design.
From the long verandah we enter through french doors to the bungalow itself. The inside has been beautifully decorated with traditional Tivaivai (embroided quilts with traditional island motifs), cane furnishings and lots of highly finished wood. It has all the comforts of home.
The property is fully serviced twice a week. Aroa bungalow is a perfect setting for couples that enjoy peace and quiet in beautiful tropical surroundings and presents itself as a serious value for visiters to the island.
