Situated in Tikioki (between Muri and Titikaveka) on the South East side of the island, Orani is ideal for a family needing access to a great beach (across the road) with an ample yard for the kids and miles of shady verandah. Within walking distance to Muri and excellent snokling at Fruits of Rarotonga, Orani has been recently repainted and redecorated and returns to rentraro with a fresh lease of life.
The house is fully screened to keep the mozzies at bay and sliding doors from both bedrooms and living area open out onto the wrap around covered deck. From the deck loungers, the world floats by in the lagoon across the road... less than 20 metres away.
The bedrooms consist of one queen-size bed and in the second bedroom two single beds, ideal for a small family..
The whole house is also security screened and louvred allowing the tropical breeze to flow through the house. Pedestal fans thru the home are also provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible. In the spacious lounge are two very comfortable sofas and dining area with small dining table. The kitchen has a full oven/stove (gas) and a full size fridge/freezer.
All linen and towels are provided but if you have a favourite beach towel then bring it along.
Turn right and a short walk will bring you to a spot called 'Fruits of Rarotonga' reputedly the best snorkelling on the island and also a great place to have lunch at the little café serving muffins, toasties, and smoothies.
Turn left onto the main road and not far away is the Sailing Club where you can hire kayaks, windsurfers and snorkelling equipment and where restaurants and small stores are also located.
Orani offers excellent value, and is priced to ensure a busy year full of happy travellers.

...we stayed at Orani for the three months of June, July & August. We had just retired from our business and having visited Rarotonga many times over the years decided to escape the New Zealand winter & rest & revive ourselves.
We had the most wonderful stay - the two things we always look for when we stay anywhere are, a good bed (Orani has a great big one!) & a good shower (the shower is really good!) The house became a home for us - it has excellent security/mosquito screens & a safe. Also a wonderful car port with superb drying line attached. Great kitchen facilities & the Wi-Fi kept us in touch with family & friends. A lovely deck to sit & watch the world go by & an excellent swimming/snorkeling beach over the road. Great choice of cafes & restaurants nearby.
Eddie our landlord was only a phone call or text away & any questions we had were dealt with promptly & efficiently. Thanks heaps Eddie.
